Boris Gartner

Boris is Chief Executive Officer of LaLiga North America, a joint venture between Relevent Sports Group, the premier international soccer events and media business in North America, and LaLiga, Spain’s top-flight soccer competition and professional association. He is also a Partner at Relevent Sports, which is part of the Stephen Ross sports and entertainment portfolio that includes the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium Miami, Miami F1 Grand Prix, and Miami Open Tennis.

Previously, he served as COO for Grupo Televisa’s Content Division – the largest Spanish-language content producer in the world, and held different executive positions at Univision Communications Inc, including as COO of Fusion Media, a joint venture between Univision Communications Inc and the Disney/ABC Television Group.

Boris has been recognized by Sports Business Journal 40 Under Forty (2022), Leaders in Sports Leaders Under 40 (2020), National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications –NAMIC NAMIC Luminary (2016), Cynopsis Digital’sIT List (2016), and Variety’s Hollywood’s New Leaders: TV Executives (2013).

He serves on the Board of Washington, D.C.-based non-governmental organization Polaris since 2019, and is part of the 2019 Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports at Harvard Business School, the 2017 Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, and the 2013 Georgetown Leadership Seminar.

Boris holds an Advanced Management degree in Media and Entertainment from IESE Business School and an Advanced Project Management degree from Stanford University. He earned a Masters degree in International Business from Florida International University and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia.
