Audrey Roofeh is the Director of Polaris's Advisory Services team. Audrey previously served as Director of Training and Technical Assistance and as a Regional Specialist for the National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline. As Director of Advisory Services, Audrey leads a team that advises state and local governments on the implementation of anti-trafficking laws, collaborates with civil society, and works with private industry to identify, respond to and disrupt human trafficking throughout the United States.
Audrey’s role includes strategic planning and promoting collaboration across sectors, through work with leading foundations, government agencies, law enforcement, social service and private sector actors towards the identification and prevention of human trafficking.
Currently, Audrey is an adjunct professor of law at the University of New Hampshire, where she teaches a course on the law of human trafficking. Prior to joining Polaris, Audrey was an attorney in private practice in New York and worked on issues of sex trafficking in the New York State courts.
