Elaine McCartin

U.S. Model Communications Associate

Elaine McCartin currently serves as the U.S. Model Communications Associate for Polaris. Ms. McCartin works with the Communications team through leading and supporting various activities and projects relating to Polaris's U.S. Model strategic initiative. She employs her experience in writing for diverse audiences to assist in content creation on a multitude of platforms, including training materials, website content, and in both traditional and social media. Ms. McCartin originally joined Polaris in January 2014 as a Public Outreach and Communications fellow.

Before coming to Polaris, Ms. McCartin worked as a Communications and Outreach Intern at Women Thrive Worldwide and a Public Policy Intern at Food for the Hungry. She graduated from Colorado College with a degree in English, and in 2011 she spent a semester studying abroad at the University of Ghana.
