Welcome to the Polaris Blog!

Welcome to the Polaris blog on the new and improved!

From our revamped action center to this blog, our hope is this new website allows you to get more involved in the fight against human trafficking. And with our new Initiatives section and Resources page, you can now go in-depth on the issues that matter most.

Whether you're new to the issue of human trafficking, or have been actively working to fight it for years, this website will help you find what you need. Here are a few things to check out today:

  • Get Involved: Head over to our action center, make your voice heard on Capitol Hill, and join the conversations we’re starting through our social media channels.

  • Initiatives: Find information, resources, and the latest news on the topics that Polaris is actively addressing.

  • The Polaris Blog: Post your comments and join the discussion here around our survivor stories, donor profiles, and more. Stay tuned for future posts highlighting the latest challenges and solutions in the fight against human trafficking.

  • Human Trafficking: Find and share top statistics and other need-to-know information -- especially for people just learning about trafficking for the first time.

  • Support Our Work: We have lots of ways for you to invest in Polaris, from monthly giving to joining our Freedom Circle for major donors.

We know that ending human trafficking is not possible without you. By emailing your members of Congress, investing in our programs, and sharing our materials and messages on social media, you are an integral part in the fight against human trafficking.  We hope this site gives you new opportunities to get involved and inspires you to share our work with your friends, colleagues, and family.

As always, we will continue to offer ways to get help and report human trafficking through the National Human Trafficking Resource Center website -- along with hotline statistics, sector-specific resources from other agencies, trainings for service providers and law enforcement, our national referral directory of service providers, and even more information about top human trafficking venues and industries.

Some 100,000 people visit and every month. Thank you for being one of those individuals. We hope we can count on you to help us grow our community of engaged supporters to new heights.

So, please explore, act, and share your favorite pages on Facebook and Twitter. And let us know what you think in the comments below. Did something not make sense? Ask us about it. Did something inspire you? Let us know!
