Sara Crowe is focused on providing key stakeholders with valuable data to inform strategies aimed at addressing and preventing human trafficking. As Polaris's Data Manager, she is responsible for the quality and utility of one of the largest human trafficking-specific datasets in the world.  Additionally, Sara supports the data infrastructure of agencies across the globe through consultation and by creating, deploying and managing a standardized data scheme and basic UI for human trafficking data management.  As more robust human-trafficking related datasets begin to develop, she is increasingly turning her attention to aligning competing schemes and implementing technical solutions which allow for increased information sharing while maintaining the privacy of survivors. Prior to joining Polaris's Data Analysis Program, Sara spent four years working in various roles for the US national human trafficking hotline operated by Polaris.
