Consejo Ciudadano Partnership

Polaris has partnered with Consejo Ciudadano in Mexico to bolster efforts to support survivors of human trafficking and disrupt human trafficking networks across borders.  To advance Consejo’s hotline expansion nationwide, Polaris staff members have conducted trainings on identifying human trafficking, equipping hotline operators with key skills to handle multiple types of trafficking-related calls, tracking appropriate data, and building partnerships throughout governments and civil society to respond appropriately. With this partnership, hotline coverage for victims of human trafficking will span across two-thirds of the North American continent.
