The Hotline Professional will work with the signaler to find appropriate services in viable locations and connect the signaler with the provider.
Survivor-centered practice
Hotline Professionals can stay on with the survivor as they connect to the service provider and can help smooth the transition or explain the situation. This is known as a warm transfer.
