Polaris has officially completed the full transfer of the National Human Trafficking Hotline. As of today, all hotline operations—including staffing, response systems, and service delivery—are now fully managed by Compass Connections. Polaris no longer holds any operational role in the Hotline.
For nearly two decades, Polaris served as the steward of the Hotline, a cornerstone of the national response to human trafficking. During that time, the organization responded to more than 463,000 contacts, identified over 112,000 likely trafficking situations, and supported more than 218,000 survivors, while generating critical insights into trafficking trends across the United States. This impact was made possible through the dedication of survivor leaders, service providers, law enforcement partners, advocates, and communities nationwide.
Polaris extends its deepest gratitude to every survivor leader, partner organization, frontline advocate, and community member who helped build and strengthen this national ecosystem over the last 18 years. It has been an honor to serve alongside you.
This transition marks the beginning of Polaris’s next chapter—one grounded in innovation, survivor-driven strategy, and strengthened fieldwide collaboration. Polaris is currently advancing a new portfolio of initiatives designed to support field-level coordination, expand data and intelligence capabilities, and elevate community-driven solutions. While full details will be shared in the coming months, the organization looks forward to engaging partners nationwide in shaping this next era of impact.
