CHAPTER PROGRAM COORDINATOR OF ELEVATE ACADEMY AT REBECCA BENDER INITIATIVE — RESILIENCE FUND ADVISORY COUNCIL

Tara Madison, survivor lead and subject matter expert, has consulted on educational materials and research for Homeland Security’s Blue Campaign and Polaris since 2017. Tara is a published author and speaker on the issues of labor trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, and child restavek slavery. She was a founding survivor mentor of the nationally recognized, Open Doors Outreach Network equality model. The largest crisis response network and service provider to minors of commercial sexual exploitation in the State of Florida and has influenced major policy on Federal and State levels. Tara has also consulted micro business start up programs in Cambodia and Haiti for survivors of commercial exploitation and has been a small business owner for 15 years. Currently, Tara is serving as the Chapter Program Coordinator of Elevate Academy at Rebecca Bender Initiative.
